Customize a Graphicly Comics Widget

There are a number of attributes available for use in the Comics Widget embed code to control both content and display. You can use the guide below to help you build a custom widget to fit your layout. All attributes are optional.

href

URL of the content to display. The following options are available:

  • Issue URL — Displays the issue at the URL provided.
  • Comic URL — Displays the latest issue in the series.
  • Publisher URL — Displays the latest issue from the publisher.
  • Graphicly Homepage — Displays the current issue in the Graphicly homepage carousel.
  • None (default) — Displays the Graphicly Pick of the Day.

The width of the widget. Default: 300px

The colorscheme to use for the widget. Options:

  • light (default) — For light layouts, uses a darker UI.
  • dark — For dark layouts, uses a lighter UI.

The background color to use for the widget. Defaults to the background color of the selected colorscheme. Options:

  • Color — Sets a background color for the widget. Color can be hex or text.
  • "transparent" — Gives the widget a transparent background.
  • "linen" — Uses the Graphicly "linen tile" background.

border

The border color to use for the widget. Options:

  • Color — Draws a thin border around the widget using the specified color. Color can be hex or text.
  • CSS Syntax — Allows you to define the border of the widget using CSS syntax.

Allows you to specify additional twitter users to suggest when a user shares content through your widget via twitter.
