Witchblade #1

It starts with police officer Sara Pezzini as she catches a group of criminals. Later, she attends a party where Kenneth Irons, a man who has used illegal means to gain fame and fortune, is planning on giving away a powerful item called the Witchblade to find out who is the one worthy of it. After a scuffle, the Witchblade and all its power goes to Sara Pezzini who it seems was the one it sought.
