Halo-8

About: In 2008, Halo-8 launched a comic book division while also experimenting with the idea of fusing comic book sequential art with cinematic storytelling and radio-play style audio. The result was the first “illustrated film” Godkiller, which was a smash hit for the company… instantly becoming its fastest selling release of all time and receiving exponentially wider distribution than any previous release. The Godkiller illustrated film marked Halo-8′s first foray into cable On Demand distribution, through which it was distributed into 75 million homes while simultaneously touring movie theaters across the US. After the success of Godkiller, Halo-8 went full throttle into creating new transmedia series that are produced and released simultaneously as comic books and illustrated films.
