Bio: Michael G. Burbank is a visionary writer, intrepid oddball, and general enthusiast of the magic and mayhem of life. After tripping his way out of boarding school (yet somehow getting a degree in Buddhist studies from Columbia University), Burbank helped Robert Thurman launch H.H. the Dalai Lama’s Menla Mountain Retreat Center in the Catskill Mountains, where he now lives and works with his wife Kersten, and where Chronicles of Akasha was conceived.
